Marketing Internship

We are innovating and experiencing rapid growth…which means we need to tell our story! Mesner Puppet Theater seeks a paid marketing intern to collaborate on a launch strategy for a Hallmark led rebranding of our 35 year old arts organization. The intern will work closely with Mesner Puppet Theater’s senior leadership team to develop a strategy to communicate the rebranding to community stakeholders including partners, donors, long time patrons, and the arts community at large. Mesner Staff will execute the strategy when Hallmark completes rebranding deliverables.

 

GOAL:

  • Develop a marketing strategy to communicate rebranding to stakeholders within the capacity of current staff who will implement.

 

ACTIVITIES (Include but not limited to):

  • Research and understand our current stakeholders

  • Develop a communication plan and timeline for brand launch

  • Prepare copy for newsletters and social media posts leading up to launch

  • Research possible launch event ideas

  • Organize contact lists and add contacts as needed

  • Organize photos in Google Drive to support rebrand communications.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a marketing or communications college degree program or recent college graduate.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Strategic Thinking

Copywriting

Comprehensive Planning

Basic Graphic Design

Knowledge of Canva.com platform and Google Drive

 

STIPEND: $1,200

 

SCHEDULE: June 15-August 15, 2022. 10-12 hours per week; Work from home or in our studio, flexible.
